My House Turned Upside Down!
Somebody broke into our house last night while we were out to dinner. When I returned home I found that some had smashed a window near my front door to gain entry to the home, and then just started turning everything inside out. My couch was overturned (like I was hiding some valuables under there), all my closets were completely turned upside down, all the contents were thrown all over the bedrooms. My kitchen pantry all the cans were strewn accross the kitchen, it was a real mess. My wife was really shaken up, as were the kids. I called the police, and they came to investigate, but in the back of my mind I was thinking they probably wouldn’t be able to do anything. They took our statement, and they decided to talk to my neighbors. As it turned out, one of my neighbors had security camera systems installed, and they seemed to have some good footage, so maybe we might be able to catch these guys after all.
