Love Kettlebell Swings

The kettlebell swing is my favourite exercise and I love to do them every day, just 20 minutes of kettlebell swings is enough to give you an intense and fulfilling exercise. One thing I’ve started to figure out though is that there are a lot of people who do the kettlebell swing in the completely wrong manner.

I was out and about in a local chain gym, I normally train at home but sometimes I have clients who need to see me at a certain gym so I just prod along. I saw some of the most horrendous and appalling displays of kettlebell form around.

I saw one girl swing the kettlebell all the way between her legs to the point where she was almost in a foetal position with her back rounded.

Part of the problems is due to using too low of a weight which allows them to cheat on the form, because with a heavy weight, bad form will punish them.
